The traditional mortarboard from E.R. Moore is very lightweight with a deep crown
for better appearance, fit and comfort. For that ensemble appearance, your mortarboard
cap, tam or beefeater cap may be made from the same fabric as your gown.
Pictured to the left are the traditional warp proof mortarboard, the popular
four, six and eight-corner doctoral tams in soft luxurious velvet and the beefeater
cap. Our caps and tams are available in all sizes.
(Note: Beefeater
caps are reserved for those schools authorizing wear as part of special academic
regalia or by the highest ranking official presiding over a graduation).
A
black link-thread tassel or a choice of color tassel is included with the price
of your cap or tam. Either choice is correct. For the Doctor's degree, the gold
tassel is also appropriate. We especially recommend the gold metallic tassel,
sewn to the edge of the cap or tam, for the Doctor. |
